Tina Turner’s legs are still Simply The Best as she opens European Tour at the age of 69

I absolutely love Tina! She shows people how to keep their love for what they love. I hope my legs look close to that when I’m just a step away from 70. She’s gorgeous.

Clearly being on tour for the past three months has done wonders for Tina Turner’s physique.

The 69-year-old appeared on stage last night in Germany for the start of the European leg of her current tour looking toned and trimmed.

Clad in knee-skimming leggings, the star showed off her killer legs which looked youthful and in fantastic shape.

The Simply the Best Singer proved why she was just that as she entertained a throng of eager fans who had turned out for her first European gig at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.

She started the Tina! 50th Anniversary Tour in America in October, marking her long-awaited return to the stage since her record-breaking Twenty Four Seven tour eight years ago.

The two hour show has been billed as a new stage show, featuring hit after hit spanning Turner’s entire career.

The 69-year-old has recently finished the American leg of the Tina! 50th Anniversary Tour

It features the singer’s top-notch band, innovative choreography and hi-tech lighting.

And despite being of pensionable age, Turner proved she was a born rock star as she rocked the crowds.

The star looked perfectly at ease and managed energetic dance moves alongside her troupe of dancers.

The U.S. singer made her entrance on a hydraulic platform, which lifted her high into the air as the crowds cheered on.

The eight-time Grammy Award winner and will play a series of dates across Europe and the UK, winding up in Dublin’s O2 Arena in April.

Her UK tour dates are as follows: London 02 Arena, March 3, 4 ,7, 8, 11; Sheffield Arena March 12; Manchester Evening News Arena, March 30, 31,  April 3, 4 and Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena on April 7 and 8.
